truth be told, i prefer an in-person yard sale over the internets any day. that said, this site has lots of yummy house treats for a wide range of prices, with new items posted weekly. click on the photo to take a look…

if i had money.  i don’t like all of what virginia johnson does. a little too preppy for my taste. but there are some things she gets so right. like this blue gauze wool shawl shell. at 195 its a bit out of my price range. but yum.

it has been way too long. please forgive me. i’ve been swept up with many other, much less fun things. like law school. no excuses though. time to get back to work.

i present my top 2 mascaras, after trying oodles:

- maybelline full n’ soft in black- does just what it says. very little clumpage, natural just better. a great, cheap mascara.

- covergirl exact eyelights in black (above.) a little more dramatic than the maybelline, but still natural, plus better. forget the colored ones, go for the tried and true black.

both wear fabulously well, wash off easily (i don’t get the waterproof, too much hassle and too much rubbing my eyes when i try to remove it,) and are really fantastic mascaras for the price.

these lovely lanterns are 19.99 online but word on the street is that they’re 9.99 in the store. anyone near a west elm store?

catherine ledner’s animals are fantastic. i can’t decide which are my favorite. there are too many great ones!

PaPaYa has some pretty sweet paper goods. and there really is no such thing as too much stationery.
